a global filter will change the Entity dimension member selection for all the matrixes
if the dimension member selection is changed in any one matrix in the report.
Once the business report is finalized with all the required work sheets and
matrixes, it must be saved using the Save link under the Reports icon in the
PerformancePoint ribbon. The report will be saved to the default Report storage
location for the application defined in the Planning Administration Console. It is
important to use the Save link under the Reports icon, since the regular save action
in Excel will not save the report to the PPS Planning Server. Once the business
report is saved, it can be published as a form template by selecting the Publish ->
As Form Template??¦ option under the Reports icon in the PerformancePoint ribbon.
Selecting this option will open the Publish as Form Template dialog box. The value
CorpBgt2008 is used as the Name and Label for the purpose of the examples in this
chapter. The Budget model site is selected from the drop-down list for Model Site:.
Clicking OK will close the dialog box and save the report as a form template in
the PPS Planning Server. These form templates are visible in the Forms workspace
within the Planning Business Modeler as described in the section on Forms and
Reports earlier in this chapter.
