In the Review and Approval page of the
wizard, the required workflow for the data submission can be selected. Depending
on the option selected in this page, a submission may go through a review and
approval process, or may go through no additional review or approval process. The
Review and Approval option is selected for the examples in this chapter.
The next page in the wizard depends on the options selected in the previous
Review and Approval page. If the Review Only or the Review and Approval options
are selected, the next page will be the Review page. Adding any combination of
Business Users and Business Roles as Reviewers is similar to adding Contributors,

as you saw in an earlier step. The PPS Planning System allows the Reviewers
and Approvers to edit and modify the data that is submitted by contributors. This
is a powerful feature of the tool that is used by many corporations using the PPS
Planning Server applications. Data modification by reviewers is enabled by selecting
the check box next to Allow Reviewers to Edit Submissions. A review deadline can
also be specified in the Review page of the wizard. The user Reviewer1 is selected
as the reviewer for the purpose of the examples in this chapter. The other two options
on this page are not selected.
