"Business Intelligence with Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007"

Clicking it will cycle through one of four
views: Chart Only, Grid Only, a horizontal split between a grid and chart, and finally
a vertical split between a grid and chart. Figure 6-34 shows miniaturized samples
of these four basic views. The good news is that regardless of which format is used
when the view is published, users will have an easy way to cycle through these four
basic formats even if they are using the Standard client.

So far, the chart has always been a standard bar chart. However, there are three
different ways of changing the chart type. First, clicking the small arrow next to
the View button on the toolbar will show three options: Advanced Analysis Tools,
Business Charts, and Grid. Looking at the Business Charts choice, there are six
options: Area, Bar, Horizontal Bar, Line, Pie, and Point charts. The same choices
can be seen by right-clicking on a blank area of the chart and highlighting Chart
Type. Finally, the pop-up menu that appears when right-clicking on a blank area of
the report also contains an option named Chart Toolbar, which turns on a toolbar
that contains buttons for the six different chart types (as well as additional options.)
Figure 6-35 shows what happens when a user has right-clicked on the chart and
changed it to a line chart.
