"Business Intelligence with Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007"

This keeps it active but the chart will now show a Big
Blue Bar for All Product and All Time, as shown in Figure 6-7.
At this point, browsing the report and clicking on the Big Blue Bar one time
displays the image shown in Figure 6-8. Why did the drill down occur on the Product
Model Line hierarchy and not the Calendar hierarchy? Recall from the previous
section that drilling down will occur on whatever dimension is in the Series panel. In
this case, Product Model Line is on the Series, or Y-axis, so drilling down by simply
clicking on a bar will drill the user down the Product Model Line dimension.
Figure 6-7 The measure has been moved to the background and dimensions have been
placed on both the series and bottom axis.

Right-clicking
There is another way to drill down, and that is by right-clicking on the bar in
question. Right-clicking on a bar opens the context-sensitive menu that displays
not only a drill down option, but also a number of other options. These options are
displayed in Figure 6-9 and described in Table 6-1.
Table 6-1 mentions that one of the right-click options is Drill Down To. Choosing
this option will give you a menu displaying all the dimensions and each dimension
can then have a menu showing the levels in that particular dimension hierarchy.
Take the standard report that is drilled down to the Product Line level, as shown in
Figure 6-9.
